It has been 5 years since we launched PrisonPulse!!

On March 1, 2012 we helped our first patron find transportation to Attica Correctional Facility. Since then we’ve assisted over 100,000 people to find the right transportation, get information and send resources to help take care of their loved ones.

We are still going strong and it’s all thanks to YOU.

To show our appreciation we are offering $10 off every reservation for the first week of March.

Use discount code MARCH11 when you reserve for Eastern, Woodbourne, Sullivan and Ulster.

We’ll continually strive to help you help your loved ones.

Would you please share with me a brief story about how you started your business?

Our team of Speak Out volunteers is creating an entrepreneurship course to be delivered to incarcerated individuals.
We are all volunteers with the Toastmasters program, and regularly lead that program “inside.” We have formerly incarcerated people on our team, which is creating two other manuals, Speak Confidently to prepare for Parole and HIRE ME: job search, resumes and interview tips.

Your story would be included in the Entrepreneurship manual as an example of how incarcerated people can create a business that would solve a problem through a product or service for incarcerated people and their families.

I could speak with you by phone or you could send a brief email with the highlights of how you started, when and where you started [while still incarcerated?] and challenges overcome.

I really appreciate your consideration. Feel free to contact me for more information.
I’ve been a prison volunteer since 2009, co-founded 12 Toastmasters programs in 8 different state and federal institutions in Massachusetts, and have ushered in dozens of volunteers. AND dealt with the DOC, 🙁
Below is a link to our volunteer blog/site.
THANKS in advance for any help you can provide.
SORRY to hear your business is halted during this emergency.
